FRESH START-21 is a program designed to help your employees kick the nicotine habit once and for all.  FRESH START-21 uses a combination of non-invasive, low–level laser therapy and a 21-day behavior modification routine your employees will use to stay focused on their goal of being smoke free.

Low-level cold laser therapy helps to promote the release of endorphins in the body. Endorphins are natural chemicals in your body that signal your body to decrease stress and increase energy.  Low-level laser therapy operates on principles similar to the 5,000 year old ancient Asian healing art of acupuncture.  Acupuncture is known to reduce tension, increase circulation, and enable the body to relax more deeply.  The first 72 hours of quitting is considered to be the crucial detoxification period. The laser mimics a similar endorphin release for a period of 3-5 days following treatment, which aids in alleviating stress associated with giving up nicotine.

During the laser treatment, energy points on the hands, face, and ears are treated. Patients may feel a warm, pulsating and sometimes-tingling feeling and a calming sensation from the laser. The entire procedure takes less than 15 minutes and is painless, external, and non-thermal.

Our 21-day program includes a workbook designed to help the smoker on a daily basis re-learn good habits to take place of bad ones.  It helps the smoker identify all of the triggers that surround them that make them want to smoke, and changes those behaviors. FRESH START-21 will assist you in assessing your needs and how to best implement the FRESH START-21 Program.  The program consists of an on-sight informative presentation to employees that reaffirms the hazards of cigarette smoking and the benefits of the FRESH START-21 Program.  Employees will also learn about laser therapy, and how to use their 21-Day Workbook.   Each employee undergoing the program will receive a FRESH START-21 Kit, which includes the Workbook, Detoxification Bath Crystals, FRESH START-21 water bottle, 100 day supply of FRESH START-21 multi-vitamin, educational DVD, internet support and of course the laser treatment.  Treatments will be administered by a certified technician on-site over a pre-determined period of time, depending on the number of employees to be treated.  Logistics of the presentation, treatment, payment and follow-up treatments are determined and planned on a case by case basis.
