Why Water?

Drink an 8oz. Glass of water when you awake in the morning, before each meal in the day and after your last meal in the evening.  This should allow you to have at least 7 glasses of water per day.  Without water, we would be poisoned to death by our own waste products and toxins.  Water is vital to our digestive system.  It carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells, regulates body temperature and lubricates the joints.  “Proper water intake is the key to weight loss.  If people don’t drink enough water, the body can’t metabolize the fat, they retain fluid, which keeps their weight up, and the whole procedure we’re trying to set up falls apart,” says Dr. Donald Robertson.  You should disperse drinking water throughout the day.  Never drink more than four glasses in any given hour.  The minimum amount of water a healthy person should drink would be 10 eight-ounce glasses a day.  If you are over weight, you should add a glass for every 25 pounds that exceeds your ideal weight.

never order a soft drink at a restaurant, only order water.)
